Ground Meat Open Faced Cheesy Sub

 Prime Beef Qeema- 750 gm
 Oil- 4 tbsp + 1 tbsp
 Finely chopped garlic- 1 tbsp
 Deghi mirch / Paprika powder- 1 tsp
 Crushed red chilli- 1½ tsp
 Bhunna kutta zeera- 1½ tsp
 Cinammon powder- 1½ tsp
 Salt- 1½ tsp + 1½ tsp
 Finely chopped hara dhuniya- 2 tbsp
 Chopped canned mushrooms slices- 1½ cup
 Crushed Black pepper- 1½ tsp + 1½ tsp
 Shredded cheddar cheese- 1 cup
 Chillie garlic sauce- 1½ cup
 Long Italian baguette- 3 to 4 slices

Add all the ingredients except oil, cheese, hara dhuniya, chillie garlic sauce and mushrooms in qeema, mix well and keep it aside for 1½ an hour.


Add quarter cup of oil in a pan and saute garlic in it and then add marinated qeema. Cook till well done.


Take it out in a bowl. In the same pan, heat a tbsp of oil and saute mushrooms season; them with salt and black pepper.


Cut the Italian baguette in half. If they are long enough then cut again in half horizontally, to yield 4 pieces.


Layer the cooked qeema, mushrooms, chillie garlic sauce, shredded cheese and a little bit of chopped hara dhuniya on each bread slice.


Place the bread slices in a pre-heated oven, and bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted at 180 degree C.


Serve with a bowl of fresh salad on the side.
