Masala Rice Recipe

 Half kg rice
 2 /3 onions
 3 tomatoes
 Oil 3-4 tablespoons
 Garam masala 2-3 cloves
 1/2 strips cinnamon
 2 cardamoms
 5 grains black pepper
 Salt and red chilly according to taste

Soak the rice for half an hour.

Slice the onions and tomatoes

Heat the oil

Fry the onions, tomatoes together.

Add salt, red chilly powder and garam masala

When it gives an aroma add the rice

Double the amount of water

Cover it and heat on medium flame

When the rice is tender and cooked fold it before serving on a plate

Can also be eaten with raita and cachumber.
