1. In a pan boil 1½ kg rice and add 1½ tsp orange food color and then sieve. Now in another pan heat 250 grams clarified butter and add 6 cardamoms. As the aroma arises from cardamoms add 250 grams sugar and 1½ cup of water. 2. When the syrup gets ready add 2 tbsp almonds and pistachios, 1½ tsp zafran, 2 tbsp asharfiyan, 2 tbsp raisins, 2 tbsp coconut, 250 grams khoya and 1½ tsp kewra in rice. Cover the pan and leave it for half an hour. Delicious special zarda is ready to serve.
